Ray (last name TBD) will serve as the main character for this story. Hopefully it grows large enough as to where I can branch out and have other characters serve as the focal point for stretches. For now, I will start creating Ray.
Ray is from the Island Nation of Brosa. He works as a fruit farmer for his father. Ray is charming and people seem to enjoy his company. He is of average height and enjoys to drink. He is in decent shape, but suffers from a little bit of a stomach due to his love of spirits. He works outside which keeps him tan.
The population of Brosa is dependant on the time of the year. During the summer times, Brosa is filled with tourist from all around the world. For extra money, Ray takes on the job of being a tour guide during these times. He knows Brosa and the surrounding islands very well. He can navigate through the jungles with ease. He knows the local wildlife and danger areas. He also knows what fruits can be eaten and which ones are deadly.
Ray is not trained in any form of armed fighting, nor is he skilled in any martial arts. He does enjoy going to the coliseum with his friends to watch all of the events there. His favorite gladiator goes by the name Maximus. Deep down Ray wishes he could be like the gladiators.
Ray comes from a simple family. His father is a local animal herder and his mother runs a tavern by the name of, "Allure." He has one brother and one sister, and a bevy of friends. His best friend, Stefon likes to pick on Ray, but he is a good individual.
